Fearless Freddie is the warhorse engine of the Narrow Gauge railway. A handsome engine with a big brass dome he was, in his youth, the daredevil of the hills. He used to be the fastest engine on the railway but now uses guile (and a secret short cut!) to maintain his reputation in races.
Good News Thomas Fans – Hit Entertainment are releasing a new film this Autumn or Fall if you are an American Fan.
Thomas and the Great Race
Thomas wants to go to the Great Railway Show, but the big engines only laugh at him. They say he’s not strong or big enough to compete from the best around the world, but Thomas is determined to find a way. First, he tries to get himself streamlined, but the Fat Controller decides that it would better be suited for Gordon. Then, he tries to get himself repainted like a brightly coloured engine named Ashima, from India. His plans go horribly wrong. Thomas learns how to be himself when he finally discovers a way to compete. Thomas nearly gets to the show when Diesel threatens his chance once again.
Due for release late September/ Early October on DVD, in the UK like previous films Sodor Legend of the Lost Treasure, Tale of the Brave, King of the Castle, Day of the Diesels, Hero of the Rails and the Misty Island Rescue it looks pretty certain Vue Cinemas will be showing this film in selected cinemas before its release.
