Designed to make the engines go faster and climb steeper inclinesdriving Thomas and Friends to greater sppeds taller heights on sets and bigger playset adventures. The Trackmaster revolution track has been dsigned to deliver a more authentic Thomas and Friends experience with strongerconnector plugs for that more realistic railway look and feel.
Will the old engines work on the new track? -Good News the answer is yes, but as the new track on some playsets is designed to be much steeper (up to a massive 30 degrees) then the old design Trackmaster and Tomy Motor Road and Rail trains will struggle to climb these new tall playsets.
Will my old track connect to the new track? -The answer is again good news as yes it will as all new playsets will include adaptors to be compatible with previous sets(not the Tomy Motor Road and Rail sets though), Peep Peep Thomas will be actively trying to source additional adaptors where possible for our customers.
Will the New Engines work on older sets. -Yes Good news for the third time – they will happily work on the new track although some features on some of the old sets may not. (when we hear of any incompatibilty we will post information on the main Trackmaster Revolution information page.)
Good News Thomas Fans – Hit Entertainment are releasing a new film this Autumn or Fall if you are an American Fan.
Thomas and the Great Race
Thomas wants to go to the Great Railway Show, but the big engines only laugh at him. They say he’s not strong or big enough to compete from the best around the world, but Thomas is determined to find a way. First, he tries to get himself streamlined, but the Fat Controller decides that it would better be suited for Gordon. Then, he tries to get himself repainted like a brightly coloured engine named Ashima, from India. His plans go horribly wrong. Thomas learns how to be himself when he finally discovers a way to compete. Thomas nearly gets to the show when Diesel threatens his chance once again.
Due for release late September/ Early October on DVD, in the UK like previous films Sodor Legend of the Lost Treasure, Tale of the Brave, King of the Castle, Day of the Diesels, Hero of the Rails and the Misty Island Rescue it looks pretty certain Vue Cinemas will be showing this film in selected cinemas before its release.
Peep Peep Thomas stock a vast range of Trackmaster Thomas items the range was originally called Tomy Motor Road and Rail, and the Trackmaster Trains will happily run on the blue track, the blue track is not compatible with the new Trackmaster design. This battery powered range (batteries not supplied), except the smaller roadway vehicles is very popular, even if the range isn’t the most extensive. Mattel Fisher Price now distribute the range and stock can change rapidly due to their policy of mixing train packs up, so if you see it stock best to buy whilst you can as product changes/discontinues very quickly.
